Human Resources Generalist
About the Role
VP Racing is seeking a full-time on-site Human Resources Generalist to join our team at our Texas Plant location in Elmendorf, Texas. This role plays a key role in supporting the organization's human resources functions and ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies. The HR Generalist partners with management and employees to provide guidance on HR programs, employee relations, payroll administration, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance management, safety, and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced warehouse environment while abiding by all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Administer payroll and maintain employee records throughout the employment lifecycle.
- Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.
- Coordinate background checks and employment eligibility verification.
- Administer benefits, leave programs, and other HR-related services.
- Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and policy enforcement.
- Support performance management, compensation, and employee development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain HR records, conduct audits, and prepare HR-related reports.
- Coordinate employee training, engagement, and recognition programs.
- Provide general HR support and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of human resources experience in payroll administration, employee relations, recruiting, and benefits administration, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and demonstrated skills.
- Ability to travel domestically as needed (up to 25% of work time, depending on business needs).
- Manufacturing experience highly preferred.
- Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple duties in a fast-paced environment.
- High levels of accuracy, timeliness, and dependability.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Problem-solving skills to assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise.
