About the role
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers while delivering exceptional HR support across multiple functions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires.
- Prepare and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Ensure all required employment documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure a positive and seamless onboarding experience.
- Career new hires have the necessary equipment, system access, and resources.
- Partner with hiring managers & Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting activities.
- Aid with posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Aid with candidate selection and offer processes.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Aid with employment branding and recruiting initiatives as needed.
- Aid with employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment matters.
- Support managers with employee relations issues by providing guidance consistent with company policies and employment laws.
- Aid with investigations, documentation, and resolution of employee concerns.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through responsive employee support and effective communication.
- Process employment verification requests (VOEs).
- Maintain employee files and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related correspondence and mailings.
- Aid with HR compliance and audit activities.
- Support benefits, leave administration, performance management, and other HR initiatives as needed.
- Maintain accurate employee data within Dayforce.
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with exposure to multiple HR disciplines.
- Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Experience
- Using Dayforce will be a plus.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
- Experience supporting a mid-sized or large organization.
