About the role

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers while delivering exceptional HR support across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires.
  • Prepare and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Ensure all required employment documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure a positive and seamless onboarding experience.
  • Career new hires have the necessary equipment, system access, and resources.
  • Partner with hiring managers & Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting activities.
  • Aid with posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Aid with candidate selection and offer processes.
  • Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Aid with employment branding and recruiting initiatives as needed.
  • Aid with employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment matters.
  • Support managers with employee relations issues by providing guidance consistent with company policies and employment laws.
  • Aid with investigations, documentation, and resolution of employee concerns.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through responsive employee support and effective communication.
  • Process employment verification requests (VOEs).
  • Maintain employee files and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related correspondence and mailings.
  • Aid with HR compliance and audit activities.
  • Support benefits, leave administration, performance management, and other HR initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain accurate employee data within Dayforce.
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with exposure to multiple HR disciplines.
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Experience

  • Using Dayforce will be a plus.
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
  • Experience supporting a mid-sized or large organization.
