Tasks and Responsibilities

Administer day-to-day human resources operations, including employee records, HR systems, and personnel documentation.

Support recruitment efforts by posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and assisting with hiring decisions.

Cook up onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and exit processes.

Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and general employment questions.

Aid with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee communication.

Maintain in-depth knowledge and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.

Support employee relations matters by helping address workplace concerns, conducting follow-up, and documenting issues appropriately.

Aid with performance management processes, including review cycles, coaching support, and related documentation.

Cook up training and development activities to support employee growth and organizational needs.

Prepare HR reports, track metrics, and help analyze workforce data such as turnover, staffing, and performance trends.

Aid with compensation-related processes, including job descriptions, pay changes, and market data coordination.

Partner with managers to support organizational changes, workforce planning, and other HR initiatives.

Provide excellent customer service to our employee population by acting as a resource to the workforce while modeling Trelleborg’s core values and acting as a champion of company culture.

Contribute to the development and realization of department goals, objectives and systems.

Work with third party administrator for FMLA/STD leaves to ensure compliance.

Support the development and maintenance of employment programs; collaborate internally to ensure proper annual reporting.

Actively participate in the planning and execution of employee/community events.

Create and maintain work instructions for department processes.

Serve as a backup to other HR functions as needed.

Other tasks or special projects as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business or other related field.
  • Minimum 2 years Human Resources related experience preferred
  • SHRM/PHR Certification a plus
