ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing positions
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements
- Post job openings on internal and external platforms
- Screens resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews
- Cover interviews with hiring managers
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet ongoing staffing demands
- Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on hiring progress
New Hire Orientation & Onboarding
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions for hourly employees
- Ensure completion of all onboarding paperwork and compliance requirements
- Educate new hires on company policies, procedures, and safety expectations
- Coordinate pre-employment steps including background checks and drug screenings
- Ensure smooth transition from onboarding to training
- Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding documentation
HR Support
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to onboarding and policies
- Aid in maintaining HR systems and employee data
- Support HR initiatives and programs as needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies

Qualifications
- Education and/or experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous HR experience is recommended due to the nature of this position
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Strong communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with management and applicants.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel. Experience with HR Software for onboarding and recruiting preferred (Applicant Tracking System, ATS); detail oriented with timely follow-up skills.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Abilities
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
