About the role

Neace Transportation is a rapidly growing transportation and logistics organization providing trucking, brokerage, warehousing, and logistics solutions across multiple operating companies. Neace Ventures is a private investment company focused on acquiring and managing heritage and growth businesses within the food & beverage and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for corporate, operational, and service positions from sourcing through onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, write compelling job postings, conduct interviews, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience
  • Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and leaders by providing guidance on policies, procedures, employee relations, and workplace concerns
  • Cook up new hire orientation, onboarding, and employee training initiatives
  • Aid with benefits administration, annual open enrollment, and employee benefit questions
  • Assist with payroll processing and related HR administration
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
  • Support employee engagement, recognition programs, employer branding, and HR communications
  • Utilize Paycor HRIS to maintain employee records, support recruiting and onboarding activities, generate reports, and improve HR processes
  • Perform other HR-related projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent HR experience
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience in a generalist, recruiting, or HR support role
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting and partnering with hiring managers throughout the hiring process
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with an HRIS; Paycor experience is a plus

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification is a plus
