The Human Resources Generalist at Solvd US will support the full spectrum of HR operations, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Key responsibilities include:
- Employee Relations & Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR inquiries.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns by gathering information, documenting issues, and escalating when appropriate.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with Solvd US values.
- Support managers with coaching, policy interpretation, and best-practice guidance.
- Recruiting, Onboarding & Offboarding
- Support full-cycle recruiting activities including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience from offer acceptance through orientation.
- Care for offboarding processes, including exit interviews, system access changes, and documentation.
- HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Aid in policy updates, handbook revisions, and compliance audits.
- Support HR reporting needs, including headcount, turnover, and compliance metrics.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes and contribute to continuous improvement of HR workflows.
- Benefits & Payroll
- Support benefits enrollment, eligibility questions, and issue resolution.
- Partner with benefits vendors to address employee needs and maintain accurate records.
- Support payroll processes by collecting and validating employee changes, timekeeping updates, and documentation.
- Help educate employees on available benefits and resources.
- Performance Management & Development
- Support performance review cycles, goal-setting processes, and employee development initiatives.
- Aid managers in documenting performance conversations and improvement plans.
- Help coordinate training sessions, learning opportunities, and HR-led workshops.
- Culture, Engagement & HR Projects
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
- Support HR-related communications, surveys, and feedback loops.
- Participate in cross-functional projects that enhance the employee experience and strengthen organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist or multi-functional HR role, and familiarity with HRIS systems, reporting tools, and basic analytics. Experience with BambooHR is preferred, as is experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration. The position is remote-first but requires occasional in-office hours in Richmond, VA.
