About the role
Take Profit Trader, a high-growth proprietary trading firm handling hundreds of millions of dollars in trading volume, is seeking a curious, adaptable Human Resources Generalist to contribute to the full employee lifecycle in this newly created, fully remote role. Responsibilities
- Employee Experience & Culture
- Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding company policies, HR processes, and basic payroll or benefits questions.
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, contractors, and vendors, including regular check-ins for long-term success and integration.
- Support culture initiatives designed to foster a connected, engaging company culture.
- Coordinate and roll out the annual performance review cycle.
- Help facilitate and coordinate team training and development programs.
- HR Operations & Data Management
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records and data within HRIS platforms, ensuring digital record organization for legal compliance.
- Respond to external requests for employment verifications (VOEs) and unemployment claims.
- Execute ad hoc HR projects, such as system cleanups, policy updates, and process documentation.
- Stay up-to-date on and ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple US states.
- Payroll & Benefits Support
- Cross-train on domestic payroll processing to serve as the primary backup for US payroll.
- Process accurate, timely payments for the global network of independent contractors.
- Assist with the planning, communication, and execution of the annual benefits Open Enrollment period.
- Talent Acquisition
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience; experience supporting a global, remote organization is highly preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of Paylocity or a similar comprehensive HRIS platform.
- Proficiency with collaborative tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
- Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes, payroll or benefits administration, HRIS, and compliance.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail, essential for managing compliance audits and payroll data.

- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, helpful approach to providing an excellent employee experience.
- Proven track record of handling sensitive personal data and maintaining strict confidentiality.

Pay
$65,000–$75,000 base salary, plus an end-of-year discretionary performance bonus of up to 20% of annual salary, based on individual and company performance.
