Human Resources Generalist
Job Summary
The HR Generalist will assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties. They will support the Human Resources Manager and other department managers with HR related matters.
What You'll Do
- Resolve employee concerns, support coaching and discipline, conduct investigations, and address performance issues.
- Manage recruiting from staffing needs and job postings through screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Compile time and attendance data, submit payroll inputs, complete Workday transactions, and generate reports as needed.
- Cook up employee benefit programs, including health, dental, disability, FMLA, life, flex spending, and retirement plans.
- Serve as a resource to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, practices, and benefits.
- Maintain employee records in HRIS and timekeeping systems, update pay rates, enter new hire data, and review payroll for accuracy.
- Cook up employee events and activities with support from employee committees.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Help identify and plan development strategies for internal talent.
- Lead change initiatives and encourage adoption with a positive, proactive approach.
- Develop employee relations programs that support workforce growth and engagement.
- Support and implement training initiatives.
- Coach and support management on workforce and people planning processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3 to 5 years HR experience in employee relations, payroll, recruiting, consulting, leadership development, talent development, and/or compensation/benefit administration.
- Ability to consult with business partners on talent management and organizational design issues.
- Demonstrates business maturity and integrity, especially when dealing with highly confidential information.
- High level of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) including strong self-awareness/management and ability to build strong relationships with business leaders.
- Ability to lead others through the problem-solving and decision-making process.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS/Workday and payroll.

Salary
Salary Range: $55,640 - $70,000
Salary offers vary commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.
