Human Resources Generalist

Key Responsibilities

• Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
• Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation, exit interviews, and system updates.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Assist with benefits administration including enrollment, changes, claims, and liaising with benefits providers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now).
• Support employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with applicable labor laws and company guidelines.
• Assist in the performance review and evaluation process.
• Manage leaves of absence, time-off tracking, and related documentation.
• Participate in investigations and the resolution of employee complaints or concerns.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Solid understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
• Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), including ADP Workforce Now
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
