Responsibilities
- Navigate Employee Relations and Compliance
- Compliance Expertise
- Ensure labor laws and regulations are followed
- Maintain employee records
- Develop and implement policies and procedures
- Lead training sessions
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and separation decisions
- Inform and advise People Team leaders about employee relations trends and/or compliance issues
- Support workforce analytics
- Analyze workforce data to discover diversity gaps and trends
- Generate reports and provide insights into People metrics
- Data and Reporting Support
- Workforce Analytics
- Support optimal functionality of People systems
- Provide guidance on best practices and system capabilities
- Support continuous improvement of People Operations processes
- Team Member Lifecycle
- Support onboarding programs
- Manage headcount processes
- People, Process and Programs Support
- Employee Engagement & Programming
- Develop and support initiatives that foster an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging workplace culture
- Partner with leadership to incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives into broader business strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Benefits & Leave Administration
- Provide guidance to employees regarding leave programs and available leave options
- Design, implement, and administer employee benefits programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional Human Resources certification is considered an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources administration, Total Rewards, Benefits, or Human Resources Generalist roles
- Experience working with enterprise HRIS platforms is preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources and People Operations principles, practices, and employment regulations
- Ability to resolve employee and leadership issues through sound judgment, creative problem-solving, and collaborative decision-making
- Demonstrates curiosity, resilience, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with employees and leaders
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday, along with experience using project management tools such as JIRA and collaboration platforms including Google Workspace and Slack
- Experience with or the ability to quickly learn People technology platforms such as CultureAmp, Continu, and Tilt is preferred
- Ability to travel up to 5% as required for business needs
