Human Resources Generalist

About the role

Olympus Insurance Company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role supports the entire employee lifecycle and fosters a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a seamless onboarding and offboarding process
• Maintain HRIS, employee records, and HR systems
• Administer leave programs and workplace accommodations
• Support benefits administration and enrollments
• Provide employee support and engage in employee relations
• Facilitate employee engagement, recognition, and communication
• Assist with performance management, training, and payroll processes
• Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
• Experience with onboarding, HRIS administration, employee records, benefits, leave administration, workers' compensation, and employee relations support
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, benefits administration, payroll, and employment laws
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification (preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• Solid judgment, professionalism, and discretion handling confidential information
• A positive, service-oriented mindset and passion for creating a great employee experience

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with normal working hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
