ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Captures the company's workers compensation program and files claims within 48 hours.
  • Follows up on all workers compensation administrative requirements and communicates updates to employees, supervisors, and leadership.
  • Guides employees and supervisors on FMLA & LOA, tracks leaves of absence, and sends required notices.
  • Collaborates with the Benefits group to ensure insurance premiums are paid during leave periods.
  • Handles confidential reports and maintains employee record confidentiality.
  • Assists with annual benefits open enrollment and employee relations.
  • Investigates problems and provides guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers.
  • Conducts exit interviews and identifies trends to improve employee retention.
  • Supports recruitment efforts and assists with staffing needs.
  • Administers employee surveys and distributes information on company policies and events.
  • Performs administrative duties in HR, such as assembling and distributing information.
  • Supports a culture of safe production and operations by following safety rules and participating in training activities.
  • Communicates safety information to new employees and fulfills responsibilities outlined in the company safety management plan.
