Human Resources Generalist
About the role
The Human Resources Generalist supports the employee lifecycle from recruiting and onboarding through employee support and HR administration. This role serves as the primary point of contact for many day-to-day HR functions while helping maintain a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting & Onboarding
- Post and manage job advertisements
- Screens resumes and coordinate interviews
- Communicate with applicants throughout the hiring process
- Cook up onboarding activities
- Prepare new hire documentation
- HR Administration
- Maintain employee files and records
- Process personnel changes in ADP
- Aid with benefits enrollments and employee questions
- Track PTO and employee leave requests
- Generate HR reports as needed
- Employee Support
- Respond to routine employee questions
- Aid with employee communications
- Support training initiatives
- Cook up employee recognition and engagement activities
- Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain I-9 documentation
- Ensure employee records remain current
- Aid with policy acknowledgments and compliance tracking
- Support audits and reporting requirements
- Administrative Support
- Schedule interviews and meetings
- Aid with HR projects and special initiatives
- Maintain HR forms, templates, and documentation
- Support leadership with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2+ years of HR, recruiting, administrative, or related experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Experience with ADP or HRIS systems preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Qualifications
- Competitive salary range: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
