Core Responsibilities
- Partner with managers and employees to resolve workplace concerns while promoting positive relationships
- Provide case-by-case coaching and consultation to managers regarding employee relations, performance management, documentation, corrective action, and employment law
- Interpret and apply organizational policies, procedures, and employment laws to ensure consistent decision-making
- Build collaborative relationships with managers and employees while serving as a trusted HR resource
- Conduct prompt, objective, and thorough workplace investigations involving employee complaints, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace concerns
- Gather, analyze, and document information while maintaining confidentiality and impartiality
- Maintain accurate leave documentation and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws through consistent application of Human Resources practices
- Administer federal and state leave programs, including FMLA, CFRA, Pregnancy Disability Leave, military leave, and other protected leaves
- Collapse interactive process and reasonable accommodation request in collaboration with managers and employees
- Coordinate the interactive process and reasonable accommodation request in collaboration with managers and employees
- Maintain accurate leave documentation and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws
- Support implementation of Human Resources policies, procedures, and organizational initiatives
- Deliver training and educational sessions for managers and employees and employment law, organizational policies, processes, and compliance topics
- Collaborate with the HR Manager and HR Director on projects that strengthen Human Resources programs and organizational effectiveness

- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, balance competing deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative HR team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar
- Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible Human Resource experience
- Experience in employee relations, leave administration, workplace investigation, and employment law preferred
- Working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and the ability to effectively utilize HR technology to support assigned Human Resources programs
- Strong project management experience
