About the role
Assist in developing and executing employee procedures and policies, providing guidance for business operations.
Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
Administer benefits and employee performance programs.
Suggest new procedures to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization, and to improve employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate a smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees related to benefits, absence and health issues and other employee questions.
- Aid in the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting phone interviews, reference checks, issuing job offers, and attending career fairs.
- Report on general HR activities to the head of the HR department.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, a related field, or equivalent work experience in Human Resources.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, cultural awareness.
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and a general understanding of HR procedures and policies.
- Knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekdays, and weekends to meet customer service requirements.
Skills
