Human Resources Generalist

Position Summary

J.D. Eckman, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support our growing organization. This role plays a pivotal part in delivering high-quality HR services aligned with business objectives while ensuring compliance with employment laws and fostering a positive, people-first workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted resource for employee inquiries, concerns, and policy guidance
• Foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
• Administer employee benefits programs and enrollment processes
• Manage leave requests and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies
• Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring efforts
• Care for onboarding for new hires and offboarding for departing employees
• Aid in planning and coordinating employee training and development initiatives
• Support programs that enhance employee skills and engagement
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
• Provide support for payroll and reporting functions
• Serve as the primary contact for daily HR support needs

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred), 5+ years of progressive experience in HR and/or customer service roles (preferred)
