Position Summary
J.D. Eckman, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support our growing organization. This role plays a pivotal part in delivering high-quality HR services aligned with business objectives while ensuring compliance with employment laws and fostering a positive, people-first workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee inquiries, concerns, and policy guidance
- Foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Administer employee benefits programs and enrollment processes
- Manage leave requests and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies
- Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring efforts
- Care for onboarding for new hires and offboarding for departing employees
- Aid in planning and coordinating employee training and development initiatives
- Support programs that enhance employee skills and engagement
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
- Provide support for payroll and reporting functions
- Serve as the primary contact for daily HR support needs

Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred), 5+ years of progressive experience in HR and/or customer service roles (preferred)

- Proficiency with HR systems and digital tools
