Responsibilities
- Cook up daily benefits processing, including insurance enrollments, COBRA notifications, terminations, changes, and 401k plan administration transactions.
- Support payroll processing (ADP and Deltek Costpoint), updating employee files, time cards, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, and benefit changes.
- Handle benefit vendor invoice reconciliation and coordination with Accounts Payable, resolving complex issues.
- Administer leave management procedures, managing documentation and compliance with FMLA, USERRA, sick pay policies, and state-specific leave requirements.
- Offer an HR advisory service to employees on absence, health issues, compensation, conduct, and capability, and other employee-relations matters.
- Maintain employee benefit and personnel files and records in electronic and paper form.
- Aid in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, contributing to policy development.
- Support HR team with employee onboarding, including training & development.
- Affix annual open enrollment materials for employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Complete special projects involving data analysis, trend identification, and reporting for HR metrics and EEO reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in the HR field
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with HR and payroll administration practices
- Experience with benefit administration
- Possesses superb written and spoken communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal relationship building, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude, and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
- Organized and efficient in daily tasks
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience with ADP
- Previous experience working for a Government Contractor
- 2-5 years of experience in benefit administration, to include invoice reconciliation and vendor relationship

Pay
Pay range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 annually. This position has a broad compensation range due to the complexities of government contracting, including contract pricing, labor category requirements, funding parameters, and varying levels of candidate experience and qualifications.
