About the role
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be supporting Encompass team members with all benefits, employee relations, and payroll questions, serving as a primary point of contact for the Clifton Park Fulfillment Center.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support and fast response to all employee relations inquiries requiring deep subject matter knowledge (employee complaints, investigations, employee counseling and leadership coaching, leave of absence, exit interviews, etc.)
- Serve as a primary contact for team members on all HR related questions (all benefits, payroll, and employee relations)
- Perform thorough investigations in a timely manner
- Lead a variety of projects and initiatives (culture events, wellness programs, HR reports, implementations, process improvement, etc.)
- Lead and facilitate through change management processes
- Utilize HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce) and work management tracking tool (Jira) into day-to-day activities
- Provide recruiting support for the Encompass team including sourcing, interviewing, hiring events, and onboarding talent
- Assist Human Resources Team with special projects and initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment
- Employee Relations expert capable of handling investigations, manager and team member coaching, performance management, and difficult conversations situations with ease
- Experience working in a distribution center environment
- Ability to adapt to and drive change in a fast-paced environment, helping others move through the change curve
- Self-driven with a detail-oriented mindset
- Possess a passion for tackling challenges head-on
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, able to connect easily with others and follow up on team member requests
- Proficient in Excel, spreadsheets tell stories to you and help you formulate a plan
- Willing to be on-site Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and Jira

Pay
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 annually based on qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
