About the role
The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting both hourly and salaried recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and compliance. They also promote the company's core values: teamwork, respect, integrity, winning spirit, and sense of urgency.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
- Administer HR programs and ensure compliance with FLSA, ADA, EEO, and other employment laws
- Conduct investigations and support disciplinary processes
- Cookordinate employee development and training programs
- Maintain HR documentation and support audits
- Aid with employee engagement events and HR initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a business-related field
- Minimum of two years of professional HR experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (Paycom preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Familiarity with OSHA and safety compliance is a plus
- Ability to multi-task and work on cross-functional teams is a must
Physical Requirements
- Sit and stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day
- Frequent visits to the manufacturing area
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to fumes and/or airborne particles
- Exposure to noise levels that are usually moderate but at times loud
