Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting both hourly and salaried recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and compliance. They also promote the company's core values: teamwork, respect, integrity, winning spirit, and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
• Administer HR programs and ensure compliance with FLSA, ADA, EEO, and other employment laws
• Conduct investigations and support disciplinary processes
• Cookordinate employee development and training programs
• Maintain HR documentation and support audits
• Aid with employee engagement events and HR initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a business-related field
• Minimum of two years of professional HR experience
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (Paycom preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Familiarity with OSHA and safety compliance is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and work on cross-functional teams is a must

Physical Requirements

• Sit and stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day
• Frequent visits to the manufacturing area
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to fumes and/or airborne particles
• Exposure to noise levels that are usually moderate but at times loud
