Human Resources Generalist
Position Summary
The HR Generalist supports the Human Resources department and assists in various HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, onboarding, compliance, performance management, recruiting support, and HR operations.
Essential Job Functions
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, payroll, and HR procedures.
Support employee relations matters by assisting with issue resolution, documentation, and follow-up.
Partner with management to support employee engagement, performance management, and workplace initiatives.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
Afford recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, attending recruiting events, and onboarding coordination.
Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
Assist with benefits administration, onboarding, and employee relations.
Review and reconcile benefit-related information for accuracy.
Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and compliant.
Support payroll processes, employee status changes, and timekeeping administration.
Aid in policy implementation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Aid in process improvement and team collaboration.
Assist with employee engagement initiatives and company culture programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
2–4 years of Human Resources experience preferred
Working knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices
Experience with benefits administration, onboarding, and employee relations preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and HRIS systems preferred

Physical Actions/Environment
Working conditions are typical of an office environment. Required job duties consist of prompt and regular attendance, ability to frequently move about the office to coordinate work with others; standing, sitting, and typing for extended periods; and lifting and/or carrying up to 5 lbs. Ability to frequently communicate with others in-person, on the phone/virtually, and in writing. Ability to read, understand, process, and evaluate large amounts of technical information and make related, informed decisions.
Starting Salary Range
$60,000-$70,000 commensurate with experience
Schedule
We offer flexible work hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with options like 8–4, 8:30–4:30, or 9–5. We do our best to support individual preferences, though schedules may be adjusted as needed to ensure strong coverage and teamwork.
Location
