The Role at a glance:
We are looking for an accomplished and forward-thinking HR Generalist for our healthcare working in a remote capacity. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-driven HR Professional looking to help a maturing organization through some very key HR Initiatives. Reporting directly to the HR Segment Leader, you can look forward to collaborating and supporting business leaders and team members across the segment. As a partner to the business, you will provide ethical HR advice and counsel to coach, navigate and resolve employee relation issues.
Responsibilities
- Employee relations
- Partner with leaders, team members and key stakeholders to provide key HR advice and counsel to coach, navigate and resolve employee relation issues.
- Work with leadership team in identifying root causes of issues and opportunities to mitigate risks and drive strategic outcomes.
- Recognize potential employee relations matters and investigate end to end.
- Identify opportunities for leadership and field staff training.
- Exchange knowledge and work closely with operators to align thinking, deliver solutions and optimize processes.
- Establishes and maintain relationships of trust to foster transparency, open and honest two-way communication and collaboration.
- Organize and drive assigned projects
- Champion HR programs, practices and policies with the overall objective of maintaining and nurturing a strong, people-focused culture.
Requirements
- MBA or BS degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience; a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience.
- Healthcare and union experience.
- Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
Nice to have
- HR Certification such as SPHR, PHR.
- Experience supporting the Contract Services or the Food Service Management Industries.
