Duties And Responsibilities

  • Covering recruiting process, including interviews, tests, and selecting team members to fill vacant positions.
  • Developing human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
  • Improving manager and team member performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solutions; coaching and counseling managers and team members.
  • Maintaining the development plans, such as training plans and performance reviews.
  • Promoting the company’s core values, primary objectives, and culture; planning and conducting new team member orientation to foster positive attitudes towards company goals; maintaining and coordinating team member recognition programs; maintaining communication flow regarding pertinent information such as company announcements and policy changes; contributing to human resources and organizational success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
  • Promoting a team environment and open communications (for example, town hall meetings).
  • Following Android's processes and procedures; responding to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs; monitoring tardy and absentee reports; ensuring proper documentation for team members with excessive tardiness and absenteeism.
  • Preparing team member separation notices and related documentation and conducting exit interviews.
  • Aiding in worker's compensation; ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing; administering benefits programs such as life, health, dental, and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Maintaining vacation, sick days, and holiday records.
  • Promoting safety as a personal value; assisting in worker's safety issues; coordinating environmental, health, and safety activities through strong leadership and communication.
  • Completing special human resources projects by clarifying project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions; communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; investigating team member complaints; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports.
  • Administering and keeping records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plans, transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and team member statistics for government reporting.
  • Preparing information and reports (including government required) by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; maintaining knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting people services functions; ensuring policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Responding to unemployment claims, attending unemployment hearings, etc.; complying with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Retaining team member records in line with the company and legal requirements.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree from college or university; and/or 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Human Resource systems; Internet software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
