Human Resources Division Manager - At-Will
About the role
The City of Moreno Valley is seeking a Human Resources Division Manager to lead a comprehensive HR program that supports the City's most valuable asset, its people. This strategic leadership role oversees all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, classification and compensation, labor and employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, leave management, organizational development, and compliance.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, human resources management, psychology or a related field; OR, equivalent related work experience
- At least seven (7) years of progressively responsible human resources management experience, including labor management relations
- At least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or program management capacity
- At least three (3) years of experience working in and/or supervising payroll operations
- Experience in a government agency is highly desirable
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, human resources management, psychology or a related field; OR, equivalent related work experience; At least seven (7) years of progressively responsible human resources management experience, including labor management relations; At least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or program management capacity; At least three (3) years of experience working in and/or supervising payroll operations.
- Desirable qualifications: Experience in a government agency is highly desirable.
