Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Human Resources for an established global manufacturing organization. This is a full-time, onsite leadership opportunity based in Prattville, Alabama, reporting directly to the President and supporting operations across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. POSITION OVERVIEW:The Director of Human Resources will provide strategic and operational leadership across all areas of Human Resources, partnering closely with executive leadership to strengthen organizational performance, employee engagement, and compliance. This highly visible role oversees HR strategy, talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and HR operations while leading a multi-site HR team. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring teams, driving process improvements, and influencing business strategy in a manufacturing environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and develop a multi-site Human Resources team while driving strategic HR initiatives across domestic and international operations.Partner with executive leadership on organizational planning, workforce strategy, talent management, and business performance improvement.Oversee employee relations, labor law compliance, HR policies, investigations, and performance management initiatives.Develop and improve HR processes, documentation, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence.Manage talent acquisition, employee engagement, benefits administration, and workforce planning programs.Utilize HR data, reporting, and KPIs to support executive decision-making and organizational performance. QUALIFICATIONS:Experience leading Human Resources within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.Demonstrated success managing multi-site HR operations and leading high-performing teams.Strong knowledge of employee relations, labor law, compliance, HR policies, and organizational development.Experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG Pro or similar systems, along with strong analytical and communication skills.Bilingual Spanish proficiency, HR certifications, and international HR experience are valued but not required.
