We are seeking an innovative, hands-on Director of Human Resources Business Partners & Talent to lead the development and execution of talent and people strategies that strengthen our culture, elevate organizational performance, and support our continued growth. In this highly visible leadership role, you will partner closely with the executive team to shape the future of our workforce, champion outstanding employee experience, and ensure our talent strategy directly supports our business goals.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Organizational Impact
- Develop and execute business-driven talent and workforce strategies aligned with organizational goals, values, and culture.
- Partner with executive leadership on organizational design, succession planning, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
- Participate in enterprise strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational growth initiatives.
- Translate data and analytics into actionable insights that improve the associate experience and business results.
- Create and execute HR roadmaps that support long-term organizational success.
- Employee Relations & Leadership Coaching
- Foster a culture built on respect, transparency, accountability, and trust.
- Lead complex associate relations matters and workplace investigations with integrity, objectivity, and discretion.
- Provide practical coaching to leaders on performance management, accountability, team effectiveness, and employee engagement.
- Help leaders become confident, fair, and people-centered decision-makers.
- Talent & Associate Experience
- Lead and inspire the Human Resource Business Partner and Talent Acquisition teams.
- Design strategies that attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent.
- Oversee recruitment programs that deliver an exceptional candidate experience while building strong talent pipelines.
- Champion onboarding, engagement, recognition, and development programs that strengthen culture and belonging.
- Partner with Learning & Development to create impactful orientation and learning experiences.
- Total Rewards, Compliance & Risk Management
- Collaborate on compensation and benefits strategies that attract and retain top talent.
- Partner with HR Operations to support payroll, retirement programs, leave management, and workers' compensation administration.
- Develop policies and practices that balance compliance requirements with a positive associate experience.
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure adherence to employment laws and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, ideally within a financial institution or multi-site organization.
- Significant experience leading complex employee relations matters, investigations, and organizational change initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, employee relations practices, workers' compensation, and HR compliance requirements.
- The ability to influence and collaborate with executives and leaders across all levels of the organization.
- A strong business mindset and deep understanding of how people strategies drive organizational performance.
- Exceptional judgment, emotional intelligence, and discretion when handling sensitive matters.
- A passion for building high-performing teams and creating meaningful associate experiences.
- A data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- SPHR certification.
- Master's degree or MBA in a related field.
- Credit union or broader financial services industry experience.
Pay
Final offers are based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The anticipated range for this role is $135,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually.
