Human Resources Director

Our client partners with some of the country's most recognizable restaurant and retail brands to develop and produce high-quality protein-based products.

About the role

This key role will lead and develop a team of site-based HR Business Partners, help professionalize practices across multiple locations, and serve as a key partner to plant leadership, directors, and VPs. For the right person, this role has a real path toward the top HR seat at the company over the next several years.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and develop a team of site HR Business Partners
• Partner with General Managers and senior leaders to keep HR strategy tied to real business outcomes
• Own employee relations end to end (investigations, grievances, conflict resolution) while keeping the company compliant with federal, state, and local labor law
• Lead workforce planning to keep staffing ahead of the company's growth
• Guide organizational design, change management, and culture work as the company scales
• Help build out consistent, equitable compensation and benefits practices
• Oversee performance management and help build out real training and development programs
• Support integration work tied to acquisitions
• Use HR technology and analytics to inform decisions rather than just track them

Requirements

• Strong progressive HR experience, including several years leading other HR professionals
• Hands-on HR experience in manufacturing, production, or another blue-collar/hourly environment is a must
• A track record of building genuine relationships across every level of an organization, from hourly production employees to executives and the board
• Strong employee relations and employment law fluency
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field (Master's a plus)
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus given the makeup of the workforce, though not required

Schedule

This is an on-site role based in Greeley, Colorado, with periodic travel to support other company locations.

Pay

Compensation is targeted at a $150K-$175K base plus bonus potential.
