Human Resources Director

About the role

Northeast Counseling Services is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead and oversee several HR functions including employee relations, HR systems, recruitment and retention, reporting, legal compliance, and ensuring a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership across the agency to develop and implement HR initiatives
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Administration or related field, with a minimum of five years experience
• Prior experience in mental health services or human service related delivery preferred
• Proficient in verbal and written skills
• Knowledge of HRIS systems

Qualifications

• SHRM certification preferred but not required
