At FutureCare, the Human Resource Director will foster and promote positive employee relations throughout the facility through the implementation of FutureCare’s mission and talent strategy. Under the direction of the Executive Director, this role leads, directs, and coordinates policies, activities, and employee relations to ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all functions of the HR department, including recruitment, retention, employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll processing.
  • Manage all receptionist desk functions, including staffing and customer service.
  • Maintain and ensure organized employee files, retaining required employment data, health/benefits, and compensation documentation.
  • Consistently and equitably apply FutureCare’s wage structure.
  • Interview applicants and conduct all pre-employment screenings (e.g., criminal background checks, drug screens, reference checks, license and employment eligibility verifications).
  • Complete offer letters for all facility positions and coordinate employee onboarding functions.
  • Coordinate and assist with recruitment policy, including job postings, resume/application review, and collaboration with corporate recruiters for advertisements, facility open houses, and external events.
  • Support department heads with payroll management and Smartlinx scheduling training.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation for all new employees.
  • Ensure employees are informed about the employee benefit package and complete the enrollment process within the designated period.
  • Coordinate employee recognition events.
  • Conduct exit interviews, identify trends, develop solutions, and implement action plans accordingly.
  • Serve as an essential partner in the workers' compensation process, including timely injury reporting and thorough documentation follow-up.
  • Attend required hearings for unemployment and/or workers' compensation cases.
  • Convey and express the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan.
  • Coordinate and maintain all accounts payable information as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • SHRM certification or equivalent highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll and human resources.
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while working in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required.
  • Experience with time clock and payroll systems such as Paylocity and Smartlinx.
  • Proven experience in human resources leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare setting.

Pay

Competitive pay range: $62,885.31 – $94,327.94 per year. The salary mentioned reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider factors such as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.
