Human Resources Coordinator (Entry Level)

As a representative of the Human Resources team and the Hyatt brand, the HR Coordinator is expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and integrity while fostering positive relationships with colleagues, applicants, and leaders.

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in the daily operations of a dynamic Human Resources office. This position is responsible for welcoming colleagues, applicants, and visitors while providing exceptional administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls
• Respond to colleague and applicant inquiries
• Manage walk-in requests
• Maintain the HR office environment
• Coordinate colleague relations initiatives
• Support special projects
• Safeguard confidential employee information
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva
• A genuine passion for serving others and thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
• Strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal, and time-management skills

Qualifications

• Previous Human Resources experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
