Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the HR Communications inbox, routing inquiries to the appropriate parties, and coordinate announcements and outgoing communications from the HR department.
- Aid in the administration of leaves of absence including FMLA, ADA, and other state leave programs.
- Respond to employee and manager questions regarding benefits, policies, and HR processes.
- Ensure all employee records are securely and appropriately filed in compliance with legal and company standards.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Cook up new hire onboarding, orientations, and other activities.
- Aid in employment verifications, I-9 compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with HR team members and vendors to support department and company-wide initiatives.
- Perform general HR administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- One to two years of experience in a Human Resources role preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Frequently stationary with regular movement throughout the office; occasionally climbing, kneeling, bending, twisting, and reaching.
- Occasionally lifts up to 5 lbs and may exert up to 30 lbs of force.
- Requires regular use of vision, hearing, fine motor skills, and verbal/written communication.
- Frequent vendor and coworker interaction; must communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and electronically.
- Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
