Position Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide support for HR functions including talent acquisition, payroll, timecard enforcement, and personnel file maintenance. Reporting to the in-store HR Assistant Manager, this role also involves employee relations, administrative tasks, and recruitment activities.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Area Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Assistant Manager on employee relations issues and staffing objectives
- Process various reports and focus on the administrative tasks associated with HR recording, policy and procedure
- Liaison for employee relations questions and concerns, leaves of absence, paid time off, workers compensation, etc.
- Aid in interviews, investigations, disciplinary actions, and HR support at the store level
- Collaborate with other functional groups including store managers, human resources, training and payroll
- Support in recruiting for the store by developing and maintaining professional relationships with external sources to generate applicant flow
- Aid in all recruitment efforts including setting up and participating in on-site and external job fairs
- Support in the posting and updating of open positions on internal and external job boards
- Aid in special projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (Bachelors Degree preferred)
- Minimum of one year Human Resources administration or similar administrative experience
- Experience in retail preferred
- Strong PC knowledge which includes MS Excel, Word
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of HR policies and practices, employment law, recruitment and employment practices, Equal Employment Opportunity regulations and guidelines
- Must have excellent PC skills including MS Office

- Must have ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs, including evenings and weekends
- Travel may be required (10-25%)

The offered wage is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
