About the role
We are currently searching for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at Harmony Cedar Rapids. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you are instrumental in shaping the culture of the facility. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources department.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the Human Resources department
- Assist department managers with all aspects of personnel matters
- Process facility payroll
- Pre-screen and on-board all facility new hires
- Maintain positive employee engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management (or similar field)
- Two (2) years of experience in an H.R. role, preferably in a health care setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Five (5) years of prior Human Resources Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- PHR or SPHR certification
