Purpose Statement
Supports the Human Resources Department through coordination of recruiting, onboarding, employee services, compliance activities, and other HR operations while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of employee information.
Essential Functions
- Cover letter and resume screening
- Candidate onboarding and the pre-employment process
- Act as first point of contact with employees and supervisors on HR-related inquiries
- Facilitate New Hire Orientation
- Update and maintain employee data in UltiPro and ensure confidential handling of sensitive information
- Coordinate unemployment claims and responses for voluntary separations
- Conduct quarterly personnel file audits
- Interpret and communicate routine organizational policies and procedures
- Process bi-weekly payroll and coordinate resolution of payroll discrepancies with supervisors and payroll
Other Functions
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years of experience working in a Human Resources Coordinator or Human Resources Generalist role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources with 3 years of experience working in a Human Resources Coordinator or Human Resources Generalist role
- Professional certification in Human Resources preferred
Licenses/Designations/Certifications
- Professional certification in Human Resources preferred
