What You’ll Get to Do

  • Drive strategic alignment of people and business goals across departments.
  • Partner with managers to cultivate strong working relationships, boost morale, and improve retention.
  • Support talent acquisition and onboarding to bring in exceptional people who thrive in our culture.
  • Shape and execute an employee engagement strategy that fosters belonging and growth.
  • Lead and facilitate performance and development programs that connect individual goals to company success.
  • Partner on succession planning, career path frameworks, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters with fairness, empathy, and compliance.
  • Use data insights to advise on workforce trends, retention, and talent development.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, with a strong focus on CA employment standards.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience (distribution, manufacturing, or similar environment preferred)
  • Deep understanding of California employment law
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certification preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Ultipro and Greenhouse a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is an asset

Position Pay Range

$110,000 - $120,000 USD
