Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on people matters, organizational decisions, and a broad range of HR topics.
- Coach managers on performance management, team effectiveness, and navigating complex or sensitive employee situations.
- Lead workforce planning efforts, identifying current and future talent needs in partnership with business leaders and Talent Acquisition.
- Support organizational design and succession planning for key roles, ensuring pipeline health across assigned functions.
- Project-manage cyclical HR processes including performance reviews, compensation planning, engagement surveys, and annual talent reviews.
- Lead cross-functional HR programs end-to-end, managing timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage employee offboarding including exit interviews and departure trend analysis to inform retention strategies.
- Handle employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment law; partner with Legal on complex matters.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging HR technology to drive process efficiencies, automate manual workflows, and enhance the quality and speed of HR reporting.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring reports that give business leaders clear visibility into key people metrics.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent, Total Rewards, L&D, HR Ops) to deliver programs that support the business.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or HR Business Partner capacity.
- Proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior leaders.
- Strong program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Solid knowledge of US employment law and HR compliance; global or multi-country experience a plus.
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters, including sensitive investigations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g. Workday, ADP) and comfort working with HR data and analytics.
- Experience using AI tools and technology to improve HR processes, reporting, and decision-making.
- Clear, confident communicator — able to translate complex topics and present recommendations to leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; HR certification (SHRM-CP, SPHR, etc.) a plus.
