Job Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and operational partner to multi-unit and field leadership, responsible for aligning people strategy with business objectives across multiple locations. This role drives business performance through workforce planning, employee relations, leadership enablement, organizational effectiveness, and compliance oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership
    • Act as consultant and coach to field leaders.
    • Develop workforce plans supporting succession readiness and talent mobility.
    • Partner with HR COEs to deliver integrated solutions.
    • Track workforce metrics and operational KPIs.
    • Translate people initiatives into measurable business outcomes.
  • Talent & Culture Champion
    • Accountability and operational excellence.
    • Drive engagement initiatives and employee listening strategies.
    • Facilitate leadership development and succession planning.
  • Employee Relations, Compliance & Risk Management
    • Lead investigations and provide proactive risk-based guidance.
    • Coach leaders through performance management and employment decisions.
    • Partner with Legal on escalated matters.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial and local laws.
    • Support DOL, EEOC and regulatory audit readiness.
  • Compliance Oversight & Field Accountability
    • Utilize dashboards to identify workforce trends and risks.
    • Conduct compliance reviews with field leaders.
    • Monitor turnover, labor utilization and training compliance.
    • Develop action plans to reduce organizational risk.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Align workforce strategies with operational priorities.
    • Leverage analytics and KPIs to improve outcomes.
    • Drive HRBP operating rhythms and partnership cadences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; years of experience may take place of formal education.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
  • 5+ years progressive HR experience including multi-unit support.
  • Strong employment law knowledge.
  • Experience interpreting workforce analytics.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across assigned regions (up to 50-60%).
  • Strategic HR expertise.
  • Employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Compliance oversight and risk identification.
  • Data-driven decision making.
  • Workforce planning and succession strategy.

Pay

Compensation range is $90-$105k + bonus based on qualifications, experience, and performance.
