Primary Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with leaders across the business teams.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Emburse’s strategic business plan, operating model, and leadership strengths and challenges.
  • Translate business priorities into practical people plans that support growth, productivity, and organizational health.
  • Partner with the HR Centers of Excellence including compensation, benefits, learning and development, talent acquisitions, and HR operations to drive business value, enhance employee engagement, and drive performance.
  • Partner with key leaders to action organizational design including role clarity, managing spans and layers, drive workforce planning, and team effectiveness.
  • Activate annual business processes including year-end performance reviews, annual compensation reviews, promotion review and assessment, and talent assessments.
  • Represent the needs of functional teams in the design and architecture of company-wide people programs.
  • Focus on an AI-forward HR business strategy and look for opportunities to scale and optimize the business.
  • Become the trusted advisor to key leaders in the business and be able to provide unbiased and direct feedback that support their ability to maximize the performance of our people and the business.

Requirements & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Six to eight years of progressive HR experience including meaningful experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • Experience supporting multiple functions in a SaaS, technology, or consulting related company with high growth expectations.
  • Prior experience working for a Private Equity-backed company preferred.
  • Experience utilizing AI to enhance productivity and automate day-to-day work in HR.
  • Experience driving organization design, workforce management, talent management, and performance management actions.
  • Able to use qualitative and quantitate information to diagnose issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Business and financial acumen with an understanding of financial metrics and how they relate to a business.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and prioritize work that matters.
  • Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing and email.
