About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Adena Health serves as a strategic partner to leaders by aligning HR strategies with organizational goals. This role provides guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns, supporting leaders in goal setting, performance reviews, coaching conversations, succession planning, and performance improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to leaders on employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns
  • Support leaders in goal setting, performance reviews, coaching conversations, succession planning and performance improvement efforts
  • Analyze data trends and metrics to inform business decisions and assisting leaders in creating and implementing action plans
  • Support leaders through organizational changes by providing coaching and change management resources that help caregivers and leaders adapt effectively to change
  • Work closely with HR specialty areas (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, OD, HRSC) to provide integrated support to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, organizational policies, and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years HR experience with a minimum of 2 years in one or more of the following employee relations, leadership consulting/coaching, talent and workforce planning, organizational development or change management
  • Preferred certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR, Healthcare HR certifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other business-related field

  • Strong foundation and knowledge of principles and practice of HR including employment law and compliance requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to set high personal goals and work independently
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to apply sound judgment in complex, sensitive, and high-risk situations
  • Ability to collaborate across departments to drive alignment and results
