Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Aid in recruiting activities, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Cook up new hire onboarding, orientation, and new hire paperwork.
- Handle employee status changes, like new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HRIS records.
- Process employment verification requests and other HR documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
- Prepare reports related to headcount, turnover, attendance, and other HR metrics.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
- Assist with performance management processes and maintain disciplinary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies.
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, data entry, and responding to employee inquiries.
- Complete other HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of Human Resources or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now, HRIS systems, or applicant tracking systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment throughout the workday.
