Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Aid in recruiting activities, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Cook up new hire onboarding, orientation, and new hire paperwork.
  • Handle employee status changes, like new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HRIS records.
  • Process employment verification requests and other HR documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
  • Prepare reports related to headcount, turnover, attendance, and other HR metrics.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
  • Assist with performance management processes and maintain disciplinary documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, data entry, and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Complete other HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of Human Resources or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now, HRIS systems, or applicant tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment throughout the workday.
