About the role

This is a part-time, potentially hybrid role with the expectation of 20–25 hours per week. Days and times will be decided upon by the person selected and the hiring manager.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding workflows within HRIS, ensure accurate data entry, and coordinate new hire processes
  • Initiate the escalation of complex issues and concerns to the HR Generalist or higher level HR staff
  • Assist with benefits administration and perform regular exclusion checks for licensed staff
  • Manage HR Support inbox ensuring responses within one business day
  • Coordinate Termination report, anniversary letters, and invoice processing
  • Support HR projects, clear Fidelity errors, and complete assigned tasks

Success Metrics

  • HRIS & Onboarding Coordination: 100% of new hires onboarded accurately and on time; with minimal critical onboarding errors
  • Benefits & Compliance Support: Timely completion of Continuing Education/Wellness approvals, and Student Loan reimbursement processing
  • HR Communications Management: HR inbox responses within 1 business day; high employee satisfaction scores
  • Administrative & Project Support: Assigned tasks completed within deadlines with minimal rework

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Able to work in the United States
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite
  • Experience utilizing AI for process improvement

Required Qualifications

  • Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and HRIS systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Problem-solving ability and initiative

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in HR administration or healthcare environment
  • Experience with HRIS systems and benefits platforms
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements

Risk-based Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws
  • Perform exclusion checks and report discrepancies
  • Accurately manage HRIS data
  • Ensure timely communication

Pay

$18–$22/hour
