Human Resource Specialist
About the role
The Human Resources Specialist manages data integrity, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 3-6 months, mainly supporting Compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and audit team member records within HRIS systems to ensure data accuracy
- Prepare reports
- Administer databases
- Communicate with employees
- Serve as a resource person for management and team members on HR issues and problems
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource management or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years’ human resources experience required, with a strong background in Human Resources specialty area, such as HRIS or Compliance. Prior Human Resources experience within the health care environment is a plus.
- Skills: Well-developed interpersonal, written communication skills. Computer literacy required, particularly in Excel, SharePoint and Adobe

Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
Work Environment
Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. The essential functions for this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

This position reports to department leadership and may supervise incumbents as assigned.
