About the Opportunity

The Human Resource Services Operations Analyst supports the design, deployment, and administration of operational processes for HR programs and projects. They collaborate with stakeholders to provide consultation, process design, and project management for HR initiatives like compensation, benefits, performance management, and training. The role implements scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes such as onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, and timekeeping. Additionally, the analyst manages and analyzes employee data for over 55,000 records, ensuring compliance with company policies and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with HR staff and leadership to determine short- and long-term information department and system objectives; develops plans to modify or replace HRIS applications, modules, and systems.
• Assesses current system utilization and identifies improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize efficiency.
• Prepares and delivers required reporting and filings; coordinates HR process outsourcing vendors and contracts.
• Identifies, recommends, and programs custom functions like automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
• Collaborates with analysts and HRIS staff to plan, modify, and customize the HRIS, and test new applications and features.
• Prepares training materials, guides, and documentation; provides user training and hands-on support.
• Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of trends in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
• Performs other duties as assigned; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an HR Assistant or similar junior HR role preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management or similar field a plus.
• At least three years of experience with HR business systems highly preferred.
• SHRM-CP certification a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, technical support, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Thorough understanding of functional analysis, system design, and information systems.
• Highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product; familiarity with Workday preferred.

Location: Fully onsite at our San Juan Capistrano Service Center.
Position Type: Full-time, Non-exempt.
Compensation: $37.00 - $44.00 hourly, DOE.
