Human Resource Generalist & Recruiter

CW is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to join our mission-driven team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for full-cycle recruiting and building meaningful relationships, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy connecting with people.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, from job posting to offer acceptance.
- Conduct phone screens, in-person interviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Maintain an organized applicant tracking process and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Facilitate all aspects of new hire onboarding, including orientation sessions, documentation, and first-day coordination.
- Attend job fairs, community events, and networking opportunities to promote the organization and attract talent.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with staffing agencies, community organizations, and referral partners to support ongoing hiring needs.
- Serve as a resource for employees by addressing questions, concerns, and workplace issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Support HR leadership in resolving employee relations matters and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Direct Operational Support Team & Shift Support: Assist with planning, scheduling, and monitoring the daily activities of the Custodial team.
- Janitorial Duties: Participate in hands-on custodial duties as needed.
- Shuttle Driving: Operate the company van to transport employees to and from work in a safe and timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 2–4 years of HR experience, with a strong emphasis on recruiting.
- 2 years of experience in human resources.
- Proficiency with recruiting platforms and/or HRIS tools.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to gain and maintain base access.
Qualifications
- Professional HR certification (SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, SPHR).
- Familiarity with the AbilityOne program and compliance.
- Familiarity with CBAs and federal/state labor laws including HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and ADA.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with candidates, employees, and external partners.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Pay
Compensation ranges from $60 to $68K, based on experience, education, and qualifications.
Schedule
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.
