Human Resource Generalist - Onsite (Urgent Need)
Job Description
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for the administration of human resources policies and procedures and takes on the role of generalist business partner with all production/manufacturing and functional teams.
Supports HR strategies related to improving organizational capability, change management, continuous improvement, and selection of new talent. Implements and maintains procedures and programs for associates in the areas of employment, compensation, communications, and organizational development, training and employee relations.
Ensures compliance with client quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and client safety regulations, policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
- Captures and manages the recruiting and marketing events for the site with Talent Acquisition team, Ensures compliance to EEOC requirements.
- Uses various online HR Information Systems to manage HR processes around recruitment, performance management, compensation, workforce management, etc.
- Addresses compensation issues, as needed, to ensure consistency internally and within the local market.
- Reviews and approves performance appraisals, job evaluations, educational assistance requests, and corrective/disciplinary action, ensuring consistency in administration.
- Provides advice concerning EEO guidelines, improvement suggestions, and communication needs.
- Develops, communicates, interprets, and implements HR policies as needed.
- Led HR related Continuous Improvement projects. May lead site-wide programs related to Affirmative Action, Compensation, Talent Management, Community Relations, Employee Activities, etc.
- Develops metrics, conducts analysis of trends, and draws conclusions from data related to various measures related to HR initiatives, deliverables, and programs.
- Captures and leads training for associates and managers on pertinent human resource, development and policy topics.
- Complies with HR regulatory legal mandates, such as FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and Title VII
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Supervision
This position does not supervise any associates at any level.
Education and Experience
- Minimum Education: Required : BA/BS degree – Business or behavioral science related field
- Preferred: Graduate degree – Human Resources Management/Administration or related field
- Minimum Experience: 1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources field.
- Experience with HRIS systems: (such as SAP, ADP, and Workday) preferred.
