Human Resource Generalist (Fall River, WI)

About the role

The Human Resource Generalist reports to the Director of Human Resources and will be based in Fall River, Wisconsin. The position involves training in Mayville, Wisconsin for several months before moving to Fall River.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HRIS systems
• Handle employee relations and provide support
• Process payroll for employees
• Conduct investigations and issue appropriate discipline
• Full cycle recruitment including job postings, interviews, and benefits enrollment
• Create and update job descriptions
• Facilitate new hire orientation
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and policies
• Manage employee benefit enrollment and handle terminations
• Work on special projects related to compliance and AS9100 certification
• Make suggestions for improving HR processes

Qualifications

• 4+ years HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Experience with payroll, recruiting, and employee discipline/investigations required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to make independent decisions and prioritize tasks for the organization's best interest
• Advanced knowledge/skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint preferred
• Payroll software experience required
• SAP, Kronos, or other ERP software experience preferred
