This role manages activities across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. The HR Generalist acts as a liaison between employees and management to foster a positive and productive work environment. Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolutionAssist with the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, feedback collection, and documentationEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulationsMaintain and update employee recordsAssist in payroll preparation and auditing as neededSupport audits and maintain confidentiality of HR informationAdminister employee benefit programs, including enrollment, changes, and claims supportSupport managers in addressing performance issues and implementing development plansManage recruiting events and event coordinationDrive qualified applicants to open positionsServe as the point of contact between applicants and hiring teamSchedule interviews with candidates and hiring managersVet applicants, perform prescreen calls and check referencesAssist hiring managers and new employees through the hiring processManage onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the organizationProcess terminations, and ensure return of company property WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER Applicants and employees are considered for positions and are evaluated without regard to mental or physical disability, race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, genetic information, military or veteran status, sexual orientation, marital status or any other protected Federal, State/Province or Local status unrelated to the performance of the work involved. Requirements Full-Time position requiring 40+ hrs. a weekBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or a high school diploma/GED with an additional 4 years of related experience)A minimum of 2 years of progressive HR experience, preferably as a generalistKnowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment lawAbility to work alone or within a groupSelf-driven to completion of the jobUnderstanding current marketing trends and digital planningDemonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to multi-taskEffectively communicate and interact with all levels of the team, customers, and external contacts., via telephone, in written form, email, and in-personAbility to learn company-specific applicationsAbility to work in a fast-paced and changing environmentExcellent customer service skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Professional, AdobeHigh degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity Physical Requirements Must be able to travel from 10-25%Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 15 lbsAbility to sustain a level of physical activity, including walking, climbing, bending, and sittingAbility to read, comprehend, and follow company procedures and manufacturers' guidelinesRequires the ability to demonstrate regular and predictable attendance on the jobValid active driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicleAbility to pass all random DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing
