The Human Resource Coordinator at GTI supports both HR administrative functions and day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Administering company-wide human resources policies and procedures
- Recruiting and interviewing candidates, providing hiring recommendations
- Managing employee relations activities, conducting exit interviews, and communicating findings to management
- Coordinating programs to attract candidates, conducting information and training sessions, and distributing project communications
- Investigating employee-relations issues and making recommendations to management
- Administering workers' compensation and unemployment claims
- Supporting compensation and benefits programs
- Assisting in the interview process for open positions
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 2-4 years of related experience
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Experience in recruiting and staffing
- Organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Interpersonal skills, including dealing with a diversity of individuals
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
