Human Resource Generalist - 2nd Shift

The Human Resource Coordinator at GTI supports both HR administrative functions and day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Administering company-wide human resources policies and procedures
  2. Recruiting and interviewing candidates, providing hiring recommendations
  3. Managing employee relations activities, conducting exit interviews, and communicating findings to management
  4. Coordinating programs to attract candidates, conducting information and training sessions, and distributing project communications
  5. Investigating employee-relations issues and making recommendations to management
  6. Administering workers' compensation and unemployment claims
  7. Supporting compensation and benefits programs
  8. Assisting in the interview process for open positions
  9. Performing other related duties as assigned

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 2-4 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
  • Experience in recruiting and staffing
  • Organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Interpersonal skills, including dealing with a diversity of individuals
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
