About the role

Veeco's Horsham site is where wet processing technologies drive industry leadership and growth. As one of two HR Business Partners onsite, you'll collaborate to deliver high-impact HR solutions, working side-by-side with manufacturing, engineering, and more.

To meet business needs, this position requires an in-office presence 5 days per week, with a work schedule of 10:30am-7pm, or 11:30am-8pm.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to local leadership and employees, serving as a first point of contact for HR-related questions and guidance.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies; escalate potential issues to HR leadership and support resolution efforts.
  • Partner with HR centers of excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development) to support implementation of talent programs and initiatives.
  • Deliver high-quality HR support to help employees and managers achieve business and organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues across sites to support consistent execution of HR processes, policies, and programs.
  • Support employee engagement and communication initiatives that help foster a positive work environment aligned with Veeco’s Core Values.
  • Provide guidance to managers on basic employee relations matters, including performance management, engagement, and workplace concerns, with oversight from senior HR team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or other relevant field and a minimum of 2 years of direct HR experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner is required. An equivalent combination of training experience may be considered.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law.
  • Strong judgment, situational awareness, analysis, and decision-making skills.
  • ERP experience is strongly preferred (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.).
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Excellent influencing, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Skill at fostering healthy working relationships at all levels.
  • Personal attributes: Self-starter, detail-oriented, thrives managing multiple priorities with limited resources, and enjoys both tactical (administrative) and strategic work.

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors when determining your pay.
