About the role

This position involves performing various Human Resources functions including tracking workforce training and development, maintaining the training tracking system, analyzing training needs, scheduling training, tracking acquisition certification status, managing the Human Resources SharePoint site, and handling Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

Responsibilities

  • Tracks workforce training and development.
  • Maintains the training tracking system and analyzes training needs.
  • Schedules training based on identified needs.
  • Tracks and reports on acquisition certification status.
  • Posts, tracks, corrects, and updates the Human Resources SharePoint site.
  • Maintains awards program data and operations, including posting announcements, proofing and verifying nominations, and ensuring packages meet suspense deadlines.
  • Manages databases and creates/reviews documents and PowerPoint presentations for recurring submissions to higher headquarters.
  • Maintains logs, records, archives, and working files.
  • Handles staff correspondence, prepares reports, and arranges meetings.

Requirements

  • Secret security clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of business experience with at least 1 year in HR.
  • Associate degree with 5 years specialized experience in HR may be considered as a substitute.
