Human Resource Analyst 2
Description of Work
This role focuses on developing safety programs, coordinating training, and monitoring workplace compliance for the Department of Human Services. It involves guiding safety practices, reviewing agency procedures, and supporting responses to workplace concerns. As a Human Resource Analyst 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Safety Coordination: Administer the agency safety program and support compliance with Accident and Illness Prevention Program requirements
- Program Development: Create and revise safety procedures and ensure distribution and implementation across field sites
- Training Support: Develop and conduct training on employee safety, hazard awareness, and regulatory requirements
- Compliance Monitoring: Review safety reports, site audits, and committee minutes to identify issues and recommend improvements
- Incident Analysis: Evaluate accident and illness data to support corrective actions and improve safety practices
- Workplace Guidance: Assist with workplace violence prevention efforts and provide technical assistance to managers and staff
Work Schedule and Additional Information
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, two days a week in the office and three days work from home. Telework will potentially be available after the completion of the six month probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
